As you can see ther is few Tears very close to your location. I'm about 80 miles east at the Arkansas border.

I have got one side framed now, and I hope to have the other side's frame built by the week end. The frame is really light and strong. The arch is made out of 1/8" ceder strips laminated to 1 and 1/2 inches. The studs are from salvaged 2x6's , I think they are spruce.

...Ya know JP, that is almost too purdy for skins...hate to see that framin' covered up...maybe you should get some optically clear lexan for the outer skin :D ;)

Friday night's progress the insulation is prefitted and numbered for later installation.

Wow JP, that is a nice looking job. What's with numbering the insulation? Trying to figure where all the pieces fit later is part of the fun.
