But, we are still pot-luck on the sides, right?

Bring your own meat for the grill, and some kind of side dish or desert????

Hmmmmmm, will we end up with too many sides if we do that?

Maybe we all can partner with another camper on sides.

or.....

The people who bring meat can bring a little extra and those that don't can bring a side and a dessert. There are many ways we can go with this.

If everybody brings something we will be great! We almost always are. Personally, I wish it was this weekend.

Do we want a movie? We haven't had one in a long time!

We just got the flat screen & DVD player in the Route 66 last weekend along with a satellite dish....so we COULD watch a movie from the rear galley......lol

Let us know if we need to do anything other than bring our own meat & sides for Saturday night.....guess we will solo it on Friday, ourselves....as we may be late afternoon getting there. (Babysitting the grandson)

Really looking forward to this....and also, signed up today for LCG5!

Just let us know, guys-girls!!!! :campfire:

Don't you know it!

I thought about the gang this today. I took the day off for a 2-hour conference, but managed to get in some beach time at DuBois! Some of my friends who live nearby and I have been doing this all summer. While the temps have been high, the water has been actually cold or very cool. Anyway, I thought, "Wouldn't it be great to have the Teardrop gang do just a "day at the beach" thing. People could just come for the day. We really don't get to utilize the beach during the Christmas gathering...and for good reason. :D Maybe next, maybe next year.

Anyway, I will probably bring porkchops or a slab of ribs. I did two slabs for Labor Day and they were so tender! My guests said so
:D. ...so I may try 3 for 3. I will also bring some garlic bread.

I will probably do the same pre-cook, which is what I have done with my pork chops before. I like a little smoke flavor on my barbeque.

Can't wait!!!

Hehe Well Actually I meant was that Friday would be "my" camping day, and Saturday would be group camping day. When I camp with the group I tend to forget I even HAVE a campsite until it is sleepy time haha... So being opening day for me so to speak, I wanted to spend at least a little time at my site with me and my Tammy LOL. I was going to make my own goodies and do my own deal Friday and Saturday unleash the unique character that is me... CD you bring the numchucks

:NC Well...fiddlesticks. I was going to make the big push to the teardrop at least trailerable if not campable this weekend and next. But...the office stomach virus caught hold of me. I've spent all my time... :frightened:

No work this weekend. :x

:fan: If it's not too hot, I guess we will be there in a tent.

Tom, hope you're feeling better. Don't rush on the TD, that's when I make most of my mistakes.
