Thomas, no one will snag your spot. All of the reservations (except one) are under our name so we will let the park know you won't arrive until Sat.

BTW someone is at the gate 24 seven so if you can make late Fri. or early Sat. come on & join the fun.

Hey everyone, When you arrive at the park tell the person at the gate your reservation is under the name "Perkins". Tell them your campsite # and pay the $10 vehicle fee per night and come on in. The campsite #'s are listed in the first post of this thread.

If you are in the group area let them know that at the gate. I'm not sure if the sites in the group area are numbered.

Someone is at the gate 24-7 so if you are arriving late entry will not be a problem.

I'm planning on setting up camp Thursday eve. if I can make it happen. We've been building a weekender-ish trailer for our middle son but it's not quite campable yet. We're trying to get it done for this weekend. Wish me luck.

If you have any questions post them here today and I'll try to answer them before I head to the campgroung.

For those of us in the group area, is it first come first served? And why are you in a numbered space and not in the group area? Something wrong with the group area?

Woody -

Following up on Mark's question, are the numbered spaces were for those that signed up after the first group was filled?

The reason that I ask is that I believe I was in the first group. However, I will not have my teardrop ready, and, most likely I will not be camping at all. (I'll probably visit on Saturday.)

So, please feel free to sway our space in the first group with someone with the numbered spaces in the outer group. If we are able to tent camp, then we'll use one of the numbered spaces.

Tom

Yeah Mark just pick a spot in the group area.

Our spot is right next to the group area. We're hoping our son gets the first spot on the right in the group area and that will have our spots back to back.

Nothing wrong with the group area. I just don't have fire insurance on my TD

Tom, you are correct on how the spaces were filled and you are in the group area. I'll let people know your spot is available until someone takes it.

I hope you & Linda will be able to camp at least one night. It's gonna be a great weekend.
