I'll bring my queso dip and maybe something else. We both have to work that day so we may not be there until after dark.

Will there be electrical hook-ups in case we need heat?

I was wondering why the water balloon was getting bigger... and then it hit me.

Doh! I was just thinking about doing queso dip, but the cat got that one.

How about those Ikea meatballs I made last year? I still have a bunch of those festive toothpicks -- meatsicles!

BTW, having food that people can munch on all evening seemed to work well last year.

Hey Scott, you guys legally do fireworks out where you live?

Why of course! You’ll need to bring an extension cord – I have only one really long one. Also we have wifi connections. We’re pretty easy to find – even after dark – We’re only a block off the interstate

I wish we did – man that would be some fun – But we’re in the city limits

This sounds like so much fun and safe. We are tearless (for now) but maybe one day. We are also off the road, staying on the Frio River at a resort our friends own. Way off the road and a big bonfire too. Stay safe and here's your first TOAST :D to the New Year.
Sandy

We're not here for a long time, just here for a good time.

Skippy, a friend of mine from au is coming into town for a "surprise" 40th b-day party at a friend of mine's house in Corinth. I can't pass that up so I will be teardrop camping in their driveway this year. I never drive on NYE. Y'all have a good one and keep Cindi away from the trashcan punch.

I hope everyone has an Awesome time bringing in the New Year.

We will be staying home and staying sober.
Our daughter and son in law will be coming home from S. Korea New Years day. :P so.....we will be going to the airport to pick them up.
It's been a year since we have seen her so I am so ready for 2011 to arrive.
We will have them for the month of Jan then off to Germany they go.

Happy New Year my teardrop friends.
See ya at Beavers Bend

Weather forecast said that there is a strong chance of rain for Friday. That may cause us to re-think our plans.

Don't let a little rain run you off - Last year we had sleet and Ice - We'll just move the party inside - plenty of room

Last year I only had about 5 miles to drive home. Cindi has to work a full day on Friday and I'm not sure we want to drive 2 hours pulling the teardrop in the dark AND rain.

We will wait and see if the forecast changes.
