I'm running low on firewood so if anybody can bring some it would help. I'll bring what I have but it's not much.

Thegirl and I can bring the celery.

and Saturday night. Friday depends on what happens in my Accounts Receivable department.

I have some of the soup/stew ingredients already, so I only need volunteers for the rest, which includes...

1. 5 pounds of cheap beef. I saw chuck roasts on sale for $2.49 per pound at Kroger today, and that would work just fine. If you want to cut it into 1/2 inch chunks in the comfort of your kitchen, and pop it all in a zip lock bag, that would be fantastic.

2. 1 five-pound bag of red potatoes. Don't cut them up, or they'll oxidize.

3. Two bunches of celery. This is another ingredient that can be cut at home and brought in a zip-lock bag. Wash well and cut into 1/4-inch pieces.

4. Two 16 oz. containers of sliced mushrooms.

5. Some nice crusty bread would make a good accompaniment, if someone is so inclined to supply it.

I have onions, all the liquids and all the herbs and seasonings. I also have bowls leftover from LCG, and napkins. Bring your own spoons.

I'm putting my engine in on Friday so I won't be there both nights, but I can cover all the wood for Saturday! I have the leftover full logs that are still in my truck, and I'll swing by and pick up some split wood to be sure we have enough.

There's no time to replace another section of my fence

I'm out of firewood. Hey Danny, you have a splitter, do you have some wood?

How about some jet fuel?

Cool, we have the meat, potatoes and celery covered, and the stuff I'm bringing. So, all we need is mushrooms and bread. The shrooms are cheap -- they just need to be bought late in the week, so they don't get soggy.

Same with bread, basically. Anyone want to try doing bread in a dutch oven? That would be cool.

Today my 5 yr old hasn't stopped coughing all day, it'll be her second round of this cold, so I'll bow out this time.
Cindy and David you two have fun, I still have yet came by to check out your tear since you first told me about it at Christmas two years ago. As you can figure yes this is Stuart. Until this year I hadn't camped in close to ten years and that was in a large camper. Camped twice this year, Minnesota and Oklahoma. Can't believe what I was missing out on. But now that I see another group that likes camping I may have to go a lot more now.

By the way I have a bit of wood that I'll never burn. I believe it to be oak so it'll have to be split with a splitter. It's been stacked up in the back for about 6 months. But I'm in Cleburne.

I can bring some wood Friday. It may not be a truckload like you usually bring, but every little bit helps.

I will make pancakes and sausage on Saturday morning for everyone.

Don't forget to bring a present to exchange. It can be anything but should be wrapped or at least in a bag.

Didn't have any idea that it was my nephew until I saw the car. You don't have any idea what you've been missing until you come camp with us. You'll never be the same after that.

PD almost has his trailer finished, I'm not sure when he's going to make his debut. Probably be Beaver Bend. Hope to see ya'll soon.
