SPEAKING OF ALCOHOL ------- I had sort of a neighbor who lived across the road and down a ways, that bought some property that had a house and a nice work shop on it. The shop was really nice with a concrete floor, heat, well lite, plenty of room, etc. The couple that had previously owned the place had divorced because the old boy couldn't properly control his alcohol consumption. Anyhows, the new owner was burning leaves when the wind came up and the burning leaves caught the work shop on fire. The building burned fast. It didn't take long for the rural fire department to get there, but all they could do was to save the house, which they did. In the follow up investigation, it was determined that there were no flamables in the building, but it burned as though they were there. The use of an accelerant and arson came into play. The new owner was not the type to do such and had no apparant reason. In looking at the building remains. it was noted that the walls were not insulated and there was broken glass in the wall cavity area. Lo and behold, it was determined that the previous owner hid bottles of his home brew and other stuff in the wall cavities, tied with a string for retrival.

MORAL OF ACCOUNT --------Ifin ya hids ya brew in ya shop, take it out before ya sells the property.

...well bad news...first off, we aren't gonna make it to this HISTORIC GATHERING...I had been scheduled to have hip replacement surgery on the 22 of Feb but, that will probably be postponed because Marlene(aka thepoorgirl) has been diagnosed, this past Tues, with 2 aneurisms in her brain...we are going to Shreveport tomorrow(the 24th) to see a specialist about inserting platinum coils into the aneurisms to seal them off...this is cutting edge surgery and the Doc in Shreveport is supposed to be one of the best in the country...so, if ya have time, send us some positive thoughts and prayers...and know, we will be thinking about all of y'all shootin' 'n grinnin'..............

Look what you guys created
I just added o the arsenal: .25 semi auto pistol, .22 marlin with scope, and a 9MM pistol. My gun dealer told me I couldn't buy any more within a month in order not to raise the ire of those who are the powers that be! I think I'm ready - BTW - we'll probably be there on Thursday but have to leave late Sat afternoon.

The thought has come across my mind - take an old beater lantern - something like a 220 K and get it going. Pump up the tank and light the mantles - get it going nice and HOT - Then - BLAM - 7.62X39mm round right square in the fount! 8)
