When we lived in Shreveport we came to realize that the weather never happens as predicted. It could rain above and below and miss us completely. Besides I'm not missing the 10th year of LCG. cant wait to see those that make it!!

We are packing up the Toy Box & hope to get there noon day Wednesday. We don't like camping in the rain either but maybe by the grace of God this rain system will stay north of the interstate! Will be in site 41, we've got a washers game will leave out until rain starts. I think I'm bringing some kind of bread or rolls for both of the potlucks. Maybe corn bread for Friday night

It couldn't possibly out-rain that last Beaver's Bend. Could it? No one floated away, never to be seen again. :phew:

 We still had 38 days and 38 nights of rain left to go, so I guess it could.

If camping turns out to be a modern-day rain dance, then I'm camping in my back yard.

According to Yahoo weather, the latest forecast only shows a 40% chance for Saturday and no rain for Friday or Sunday.
Just Saying

Well, I got my margarita machine up and running. It's been sanitized and ready to go. I have Tony's recipe and I'm ready to go.

Bad thing is that I cam down with a cold yesterday. I feel like sh** right now but hopefully I will feel better tomorrow. Our plan is to be there Thursday in the mid-afternoon. Providing I don't die before then.

Don't die! We need your machine, and we want to see Cindi this weekend. Even if it means we have to put up with you! ;) JK I hope you get to feeling better bro.

Well I just limped 110 miles home. Looks like my TOW vehicle's transmission is about to give up. I can't risk being 3 1/2 hours from home with the Scotty with no transmission. Looks like Macy and I might miss LCG 10 unless I can figure out something. BUMMER!!!!
