MK...we came a day early and stayed an extra day...beautiful park and a 17,000acre sunken cypress lake...

Julie...I like the fact that we were spread out...I really don't like having to double up but you are right...you could easily put 2R3 trailers onna site, but ask Joe(sfrcrux) about parking on the decks...I believe that the BlueBonnet turned themselves sideways and used the deck for their living room/kitchen

Pat, you Ar guys really need to organize something for the summer at Devil's Den, Petit Jean, Whilemenia or??????

Madjack, you're right we did turn the Bluebonnet sideways. The deck was fantastic, we really liked that feature at the park.

...I liked 'em as well Dave...even though we didn't have one...there should be 25 more sites with decks when we return in OCT.....

...actually, we took up 2/3rds of the park (42 of 65 sites)...it sure would be nice to fill that other third as well, this year

Yup, then we can worry about doubling up on sites... Which is a good problem to have.

Okay, this may have been covered already, but their are 396 posts in this thread, which is a lot of reading, and I'm not getting any younger.

Will there be a sign-up thread, or do we each need to reserve a space at the park?

Unless something realy huge comes up, I plan to attend. What happens now?

CD :)

...we all take a deeeeeep breath...and wait until Oct 8) ...you will need to reserve your site in advance thru Reserve America...I will reserve site #40 as I did last year and probably #38 as well, to use as a central gathering area...when we get a little closer, and plans get solidified, there will be further threads with more info...I think last year we ended up 6r8 different threads going...

Dave !!!! Dadgum.... you really plan ahead!!! I might find the bucks and go ahead and reserve now too... well, at least before summer.
I think this time I'll not do a site with a deck.... I don't have enough stuff or a big vehicle.

Yes, Caseydog , we'll have a BIG ole thread going with all the goodies !!!
I've already looked and might have found a thing or too for the prize or raffle goodies. And will keep in mind the Halloween thing.

Julie

Okay, I went ahead a reserved a site -- number 47. For 35 bucks, I can assume I'll be able to make it. I figure the sooner we fill up a block, the less chance we have of some $300K mansion on wheels setting up right in the middle of us.

BTW, anyone who wants a good laugh, go here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owvO640ODwA

I went to ReserveAmerica site. Their are several campgrounds at Lake Bistineau. Which one are we using? Don't want to camp in the wrong place!

I don't know if there's a name for that area, but it's sites around the 40s and 50s in numbers.... like MJ said, he gets 38-40 in the center.

On the reserve america site, there is a sort of drop down list to go to that number of sites . try that. I 'm hoping to get around 45 or so , I had 52 last year I think , a pull thru w/ deck but it was way too much room for me.
