I'm makin' chili for lunch this coming Saturday. I'll be attending the annual Newport Antique Auto Hill Climb (Newport , Indiana) http://www.newporthillclimb.com/

The chili is a great time diverter on Friday and the small DO batch will last for two days.
In the meantime, I'll be tuning in to the Purdue/ Notre Dame game on Saturday. What a great way to tailgate and attend a teardrop gathering at the same time.

Anyone in the Midwest region that likes old (really old) cars will like this event.
It's the first weekend in October (every year)

I make a pretty good chili if I say so myself ... make it with rotel tomatoes ... so it can be as spicy hot as you want it!!! Just say the word and I will make it at the LA gathering. Trudy

Sounds like the makings of a chili cookoff !!! Madjack, is this one of the games for the weekend?

I'll plan on providing the 'toppings' ... if anybody needs them... like shredded cheese, sour cream, onions, jalapeno slices, ....

yummmmmm

Now this is really turning into my favorite kind of camping trip. One where someone else does all the cooking!!!

I'll bring a bunch of spoons and bowls. I'll go to Sam's and get the big packs! What do ya think Jack? About 200 bowls for the weekend? Plates too for Saturday evening? (I'll just write a company check. After all, it is for company, right?!)
