Is it just me???

Postby Duck Daddy » Tue Dec 12, 2006 9:49 pm

When I started doing the Kayaking thing I would spot any type of water while driving down the road and I would think to myself, I could Throw my kayak in there and go....

Now, after I discoverd the world of T&TTT, I catch myself driving down the road and spoting all kinds of utility, welding or any other little trailer and thinking to myself, I could sleep in there... :D
We are, each of us drawn to harmony.
In music, in relationships, and in our Kayaks

The first step is admitting you have a problem.

It sounds like you are in the advanced stages of this obsession. Next you will be looking at every RV,camper,pop-up, Van or any other campable vehicle and think. How can I incororate that in my design.
There is no help for you now. You have been bitten by the bug.

My advice is to do what I did. Go to the boat show and look at boat cabins. Boat designers are masters at designing small cabins. Alot of my idea's were born that way.
Boat hardware is usally alot nicer than RV hardware also.

You sound like Kate's late and much lamented father. He was the consumate fisherman and he couldn't pass a trickle of water without saying, "Y'know, I bet I could get a fish out of there."

And if there were in fact a fish in it, he could.

 8) Well Ducky,
Having both the building fever and the float/fish fever I can tell you, there is in fact a cure. It takes many years though and I personally don't have that many left.

The Cure:
Float the rivers and lake,
Fish the waters
Build the Teardrops.

Eventually you will run outta money, time or energy. ;)
