Return of the Dust Bowl...

Postby caseydog » Sat Feb 24, 2007 4:00 pm

We missed the bad storms in the DFW area last night, only to get hammered by incredible winds today.

And, with all the constuction sites around my area, the sky has turned a solid tan. It's hard to breathe outside, and when you do, your teeth start to grind from the dirt in your mouth. Nasty!

Do NOT try to tow a TD through North Texas today!!!

What's up in the rest of the SC region -- weatherwise?

It started out with showers this morning. It is now 77 and sunny with about 10mph winds. It is a fantastic day.

1st, Kevin A, your picture is too cute!

2ndly, the wind has come sweeeeeping down the plains here in my neighborhood. I suspect my neighbors and I should have a swap meet next week. Everything that wasn't nailed down is in someone elses yard!

I thought about how well my tear might stand up against this 45 mph wind...don't want to find out.

Todah....swept away :?

Here in Fort Worth it was a real dust bowl today. I felt like I was back in the desert dust storms again.
