We had a blast this year just like we did the past 2 years. It was nice to pass such a large time camping in the woods 3 years ago with strangers I met on the Internet. But I must say after this trip I consider most of you good friends not strangers. I just wish LCG lasted longer even if my liver doesn't. :) Anna, Gabe and Myself will be back next year to make it 4 dats fur sure. Hope to see a few of y'all around a campfire before then so stay safe and keep campin. :)

Y'all can see what I mean now about that being a vacation and not just another camping weekend. That's why I have been getting there on Wed, and planning to leave on Monday.

It's the big 'family' reunion where you really WANT to see everyone and absolutely hate to leave. I like the relaxing campouts and LCG is big and hard to really sit and visit with everyone and I feel like I work too much but I love it.

See ya 'round the campfire , next year!

It was our first gathering and definately not our last. I don't think we could have met a better group of people. Everyone was so freindly. the food was awsome. The weather perfect. How can we top this??? Thanks to MadJack and all the people that put so much effort into making this a great weekend. I'm still trying to remember names and put them with all the faces. Can't wait to do it again.

Fella by the name of Dean. He's not a forum member, but I met him while traveling the Natchez Trace a while back. I was on my bike, he was pulling his Teardrop. We talked a while, I told him about LCG and there ya go! Me thinks he had a good time. I know I did. :D

Funny how the Preacher Man was the only one in our group to get in trouble with the law.

Nope - all I got was a ticket. On the way back from an evening in town I was stopped for speeding. Instead of giving me a ticket for speeding - which would have been costly and go on my record, the assistant chief offered a ticket for "no seat belt" which was $25.00 and would not go on my record - he could have just let me go, but i guess he didn't make quota yet. Rather than fight it - i just paid the fine and be done with it. Some folks make it sound like a felony issue - but really it wasn't. I'm sure Glad I got the ticket rather than all the "saints" gathered aound at the campfire? ;) end of story

Scott, sorry about the ticket. Now, if Grani had been there things would have been different. (Yeh, we would probably all be in jail). Any way I don't think you deserved it. Didn't you tell them you were at MJ's birthday party and we were a wonderful bunch? Oh well, I am sorry about it. Nuf said.
