I've tried them all, and as charcoal briquettes go, I find the Kroger brand works just as well as Kingsford, for a lot less money.

I'll bring some, too.

I'd go with pain old black charcoal. We are grilling, not smoking.

And, I do believe it would be illegal to cook my alma mater's mascot -- Eagle.

I'm all for bringing my own steak for the grill.
Banana pudding for Sat night too. Unless everyone is tired of it.

A friend and I created an AWESOME vanilla homemade ice cream recipe.
If anyone is interested I'd be willing to make ice cream too. I'm getting real good at it. I make it twice a week and freeze it in small bowls for the retired one. He really eats that much ice cream

Woody, I've been bustin butt in the shop to make up for playing one weekend. LOL You know....you twisted my arm to come camping. LOL

We'll be happy to see you, with or without his royal retiredness.

Homemade Ice Cream seldom goes uneaten. My ex-wife got the White Mountain ice cream maker. I never bought another one. I like vanilla with some apple-pie filling and cinnamon mixed in, personally. :D

I think I will send some kind of veggie with Dave. I will be joining you all there. My Mom is having knee surgery in Ft.Worth on Friday. Hopefully, that will go well but I don't plan on having enough time to really cook anything.

Hey Txbum, there's a QT or a Racetrack gas station (can't remember which) about two miles from the park.

There is a bulk ice place at roughly 593 E Camp Wisdom Rd, Duncanville, TX, United States (based on google maps) just a block or so off I-20. It's next to a Texico gas station and if you go past the Jack in the Box turn around.
