Has anyone been to the Caverns of Sonora near Sonora, Texas?

We're thinking about going there.

Yes, Woody we have been there several times tent camping. I don't remember anything really special about the campsite except all the peacocks and of course any scenery is better than houston. Now the cave is a different story, of all the caves I have been too this is the most memorable and alive. I have been three times and would not hesitate to go again if I was in the area with someone that had not been there.

Thanks Alan, I've heard some good things about the caverns from a man I work with. We're planning on going there during spring break next year. Our grown kids really want to take the tour of the undeveloped part of the cavern.

QJ, I'll be sure to let you know. We are probably not going until spring break next year.

Supose to be pretty caverns and I don't know anything about camping there except they do have a campground.

I guess we'll find out next year.
