Ready for a new year!

Postby reo-ron » Thu Dec 23, 2010 12:33 pm

Sitting in the house - shop heater died- too cold to be out there! Most may remember I had a wreck in Aug and broke my right foot. So, my fall was not very productive. I had a second surgery monday 12/20 to remove a couple of screws. I'm now finished with all but some time for the pain and swelling to stop and to regain full range of motion. My business, like several others here, has been pretty bad this past year and a half. However, the general feel is we should have an up swing in 2011! ( I'm ready) . I have been gathering parts for a new vintage VW based tear and I have finally recieved the boat I had built for the Trailorboat I bought from Bobby last spring. Now I just have to figure out how to attach it to the cabin????? Hope to have it finished for BB in spring. 2010 has been stressful but also filled with blessings. My first grandchild was born 11/17/10 - Simon lives in Memphis. I guess I may have to skip a car show or camping trip to take grandma to see the grandbaby this comming year.
Wishing all of you a Merry Christmas and a Great New Year filled with camp fires and friends.

Ron,

Too bad about the shop heater, but glad the foot hardware has been removed and you are on the mend. Hoping for a happy and prosperous new year for all of us.

Grandpa,... what's for supper?

May your foot mend completely and be twice as strong as it was before...then you can get back to your soccer career :D .

Happy New Year, Ron. Some of the South Central regulars (or irregulars) will be ringing it in at Scott Stewarts house this year. It ought to be another experience for the scrapbooks.

It won't be long until BB is upon us.

Happy New Year Ron. Good to hear you are on the mend and have a new Grand Baby. Hope to see you at BB and you may want to try and slip away to the Beach Bash in May as I know you are interested in the beach and how it is coming back.
