This is all i could find online as far as "rules"

Facilities offered at the Bodcau WMA shooting range include a 12-bench rifle range with targets at 25 to 200 yards, a 16-station pistol range with 25- and 50-yard targets, and a shotgun skeet station.

LDWF provides target backs, targets, chairs, benches, sand bags and a manual skeet thrower. Skeet shooters must provide their own clay pigeons.

Shooters must also provide their own eye and ear protection, which must be worn.

The range is located on LA Hwy. 157 about 10 miles north of Interstate 20. At the community of Bellevue, turn east onto Bodcau Dam Road. Stay on Bodcau Dam Road for approximately three miles, and cross the Bodcau Bayou dam and follow the signs to the range. A self-clearing permit station is located at the base of the dam next to the metal shop building.

Call the Bodcau WMA shooting range at 318.326.3225 or the LDWF's Minden office at 318.371.3043 for more information.

Here is a overhead picture of the lay out of the place. The range as you can see in not right next to the camping area. So if some people don't want to be involved in the shooting. Then the camping area is a safe distance away. But still close enough that it's only a short ride for the shooters. I will get in touch with the range master closer to the dates we are planning to make sure the range will be open. Just to make sure they are not planning some maintenance or something that would close the range during the off season.

Add woodsmoke to your list. Jest in case thar are any ATF fellows looking on, all I have is a short range slingshot, and the amount of ammo that I might have at any one time depends on the chinaberry crop. In the winter time, chinaberries tend to be mushy, so I might have to use sumpin else.

What a cool idea for a gathering and I love winter camping too. In Feb it can be really nice during the day and at night, well that's what a campfire is for!

I am IN

I am not sure how much use I can get out of my short barrel 12 gauge on a firing range so Planovet i would love to try some of your goods.... and if anyone has a .22 rifle I would like to play too... Since I don't know what I will be shooting I'll just bring $5 bills for ammunition compensation if that's cool.

Well, as far as the ATF is concerned, I lost all my guns in a tragic boating accident the other day.

But I will try to find something to bring ;)

Only reason I have so many guns, is so once their made illegal. The ATF will not have to spend as much of your tax money on gas going around picking them up from so may different places. So if you want to save tax money and help boost the economy! Send me all your guns and ammo! lol

I have a .22 rifle and around 1000 rounds. I'll probably need to catch up with one of you guys before hand so it can be cleaned & ready to have some rounds put through it.

Does the range allow FMJ?
