I FORGOT MY BANNER!!! (Whew, banner recovered)

Postby WarPony » Sun Oct 30, 2011 6:45 pm

Well, I made sure everything was all packed up yesterday evening so we would just have to hook up and go this morning. It took me til we got to Mc Alester, OK that I had left our brand new banner still stuck on the sign post   .....

Did anyone happen to see it during the daylight this morning and pick it up? I'll be more than greatful and will send an empty tube to ship it back to us. So much for making sure "everything" was packed up   ...

Hey Jeff,

We saw it this morning and grabbed it, figured it was something you wanted to keep. Just email me your address and we'll toss it in the mail.

I had something similar happen too - Sometime on Saturday night I lost my cap. I looked everywhere in the camper for it. Planovet found it and returned it back to me before we left. What a SUPER group we have

Teardroppers certainly are the "cream of the crop " ! And I might add.. yer little group is jus part of the family !

It's always great to hear the helpful things that teardroppers do fer one another.

"I" sure am glad to be counted amongst y'all !!

Random acts of kindness.. jus one of the many attributes of this family !

RIGHT ON--110%; I'd trust any one of them to cover my back, anytime!!!!!!!

By the way -- it seems that I may have misplaced some folding type money. If anyone finds it, I would sure appreciate a notification. You'll know that they are mine if there are past president's pictures on them - like Grant and Ben.

That is a fact! In my drunken stupor I managed to lose BOTH of my koosies... A staple when it is cold outside. The next morning, a good Samaritan put them both in my chair and the chair next to me. Where else is the tradition on a Saturday to prop open the door to your camper and then walk away for hours, to not only find all your stuff still there, but people came by to leave treats and mementos of the event.

Teardroppers are a trip BACK in time... when you ,KNEW yer neighbors, left yer doors unlocked and the keys IN the car..

A time when people actually watched out fer one another and genuinely CARED about the neighbor, lent a helpin hand, and had respect fer other peoples property.

Long live the "Good Old Days" ! And "I" will gladly set the example and cary on the tradition !
