I just heard from Glen (Caseydog) and he has arrived at Lake Bistineau. Since I'm not attending--HE HAS STOLEN MY SITE, AGAIN!!!!

He wanted to pass along that his site, site 39, across from Madjack (and in very close proximity to the party site--literally within tripping distance) is available if someone wants to get closer to the action.

I think he also said he wanted to pay big bucks to someone to take his site off his hands. (Gotcha!)

Looks like the annual Thursday nite rainstorm is right on schedule. Close the galley hatches--you're about to get wet!

I drove over and spent the day Saturday. One day was not near enough time to visit with everyone but I still enjoyed they day and of course the potluck.
Was surprised and sad at the low attendance this year but I know how life can get in the way of fun sometimes.

Hoping everyone has a safe trip home.

There's nothing quite like stepping out of your teardrop into water in the bottom of your side tent! That little rain event aside, we had a great time.

Had a great time, was nice to meet new people and see older friends. Now I can say I have been to LCG event. Thanks for the great gumbo and great breakfast at Gary and Trudys thank you Larry for cooking all that bacon & sausage, hope everyone that got a waffle liked them. The pot luck dinner was great food and visiting with friends. If any of you ever come out to the east coast [Las Vegas] let me know your coming and I will see if we can set up a cookout and camping trip. Just want to thank you all for making my stay in Texas so joyful.

Had a great time at the LCGVII. Met some wonderful people, great food, and a wonder scenery. First time for camping in LA, a bit to much rain but a wonderful campground. Glad we got to come to your gathering. Thanks for having us and making us feel welcome.

Sorry we missed you. I agree about the rain, cold to the bone. It is a good thing to be able to be able to sleep warm and dry in a teardrop.

This was our third time to go to LCG and we love it more each time we go. We had a great time. It was not as big this year but still as fun. Sorry, we are not picture people, so I do not have pictures.
