I'm in. Should I bring my seafood boil equipment? I'm not sure what quality of crawfish is available, and what it would cost, but we could do a shrimp boil.

Planning:
Parking: We are parking our and your vehicles in neighbors' drives. I am going begging for space this weekend.

Parking for the rest will be up and down the street and at the little strip center down the street. Having to find a parking place will be part of the fun for them.

We have room for 5 tears plus ours in our driveway and side pad. Parking will be first available but make sure we know if you have to leave early because it will be first in first out.

Food: I am making chicken gumbo, red beans and rice, crab balls, a fruit tray and several bourbon cakes.
If you guys want to some shrimp or crab boil stuff , that would be appreciated. Just remember there will be lots of people.

Hope everyone will bring a costume or at least a funny hat.

You can come Friday night if you want or as early as you can on Saturday. We will be here.

Okay, Ill bring my boil pot and burner. I can pick up most of the ingredients, but could use some shrimp donations.

We'll need a good ten pounds. That's good for two batches, or about 20-25 servings.

Bring jumbos, heads off, shells on.

The "fresh" shrimp in grocery stores was previously frozen, so frozen shrimp is fine. As long as the shells are on them, shrimp freezes fine.

Well, I have a photoshoot scheduled Thursday and Friday in Conroe. I still plan to make the party.

Dave and Cindy, could I drop my TD off at your house on the way down on Wednesday, so I can drive straight from Conroe to your house either Friday evening or Saturday morning?

Yes, Scottie, we party next weekend. You just pick your own spot for the blow up bed!
If the party isn't on the 11th, I just bought a lot of tequila and those 2 kegs for nothing!
 I know you don't do alcohol - what do you drink? I can't remember.
There should be about 40-50 people at the party so come early and stay late!

Took three full gas tanks to get to the land I was checking out this weekend so we won't be bringing the truck/camper.... Brenda will be my designated driver instead.

So Cindy, you have a free spot for an overnight camper...
