I was sifting thru the "September Texas Gathering" thread. The campout will be in a little over 2 weeks who will be there? It looks like it will be a pretty big group.

I was wondering who will be there and who will be bringing their trailers?

Please post if you are going.

We will be there. If I have to bring it naked with a transport permit, I will be bringing my trailer.

My wife and I are planning on dropping by on Saturday. Unfortunately, without a teardrop as I'm just beginning construction. We want to meet the group and see many of the great teardrops in person for a little inspiration. We have a state park pass so we'll just wander around until we find you (unless someone already knows the campsite numbers).

Thanks, David and Shirley Byrum

David,
Hello neighbor,
I think we are going to be in the mid to upper 200's for camp sites.

Calling tomorrow

Everyone,
With list in hand, I am calling tomorrow to talk to the people at the park. Dave and I will go on Thursday night and will get us in the 200's somewhere if at all possible. There are only 2 areas that are large enough with a shower house that we can be together. If anyone is not on the list, let us know quickly so you will be with us. I am also making signs for each one. If you have a name for your tear and it is not on this list, let me know.
Bluebonnet Tear, McTeardrop, Coca Cola Tear, Tourmaster, Mexican Tear, The Major, The Titan, & Texas Steerdrop.

What about it? I don't have a teardrop name for Asiaflava, Steve H., Dave, Ken, and Mark. Do you call your tear anything?

Cindy,
Not sure how you want to do signs for us. Greg and Phyllis will have the Coca Cola Teardrop and Charles and I will have the Black tear with flames.
See ya soon.

Reservations IMPORTANT

Hey Y'all,
I called Inks Lake. It is NO problem to get us all together. We will get there on Thursday night and can pick up the reservations early on the morning of the day that you are coming so we can pick your spot. We can do that if:

1. I know everyone's name who will be there. First & Last.
2. I know the day or days that you have reserved so I know when to pick them up.
3. Your reservations are completely paid for all the days you will be here.
4. If you are coming on Saturday for Saturday night only, there are spaces left near us. You may want to also reserve on Friday just to save a space. Just a suggestion and not required.

So, Call reservations at (512)389-8900 (Mon - Fri) (9:00-5:00) and say you want to pay your total amount.
Then email me with

the name & dates on the reservation
how many people you expect to have
what you will have with you: tear, trailer, tent or a combination &
If there is someone you would like to be really near.

You can personal message me here or my email is [email protected]

I will pick up your reservation the morning of your reservation and assign you a good spot. Then let the office know where you are. You can stop at the office and give them your license plate number & any other info they need.
:applause: Cindy

Where to be?

I forgot to say that when I talked to the ranger, she said that if some of us had tents then we would be able to fit in the section near the Devil's Waterhole. There are 23 sites so far if everyone got there reservations. We would need sites 231-257. Some of the sites in that area are walk in only for tents but do have electricity.
If for some reason we cannot get that site, we can get in the area just near that. Those are the only 2 areas with 23 sites together and a shower house.

Will anyone be coming before Thursday night?

welcome

Welcome to the forum Peg.
Glad you can make it.
That trailer should be a lot lighter now that it is a bug and not a Holstein.
