ok I used Google Earth on the route. I found the stop sign in side the that park. But If I go to the right it
just takes me out of the park. Should it be a Left turn at the sign and then stay right ?? Google Earth did
not trace the roads any farther into the camping area, but I can see two loops for campers along the river
if I turn left at the stop sign. ( using above view )



Just checking, my last three year as a courier, I try to map out a route and alt route before I head out.

Or maybe it is a Left for me because I’m coming down to the park and not driving up to the park

Woody, I was waiting until my baby girl and baby bump made it back to Germany. This mama stays up and watches flight tracker app on phone. I was about to text her hubby that I saw they landed and got a text from Cassidy that they landed so this mama went to bed.

The Buckeye loop is along the river. Just follow the signs. When you come to the stop sign with park office on your right do not turn left. Go through the stop sign and veer to your right. It is really not hard to find.

I will get out my park map and see if I can share it with you shortly

Terry, my map is so detailed it is hard to follow.
Basically if you take the south entrance on 259A, then you will come to a stop sign. (if you turn left you will follow 259A out of the park through the North entrance)
On your right at the stop sign is the Park office and gift shop
Go through the stop sign and stay to your right and follow signs. Really is easy to get to

As Linda said, the map is a little hard to read. In the upper right hand corner of the box that shows the map symbols, there is a "notch". The road by the notch that says "To US 259" is the south park entrance. Follow this winding road to the northeast. You'll go past the entrance to the Forest Heritage Center and shortly will come to a stop sign. Go straight through the intersection. The road will wind around to the southeast, where you'll pass the park store and restaurant. Keep following the road. Once you cross the creek, you'll pass a playground on your left, then some cabins on your right, and then a restroom/shower building on your left. Be looking for a road that turns to the left. It 'll be just before you get to the tennis courts. Turn left on that road. Once you pass the camp hosts, you'll be in the Buckeye Loop down by the river.

It's much easier to find than how I described it.

The Map is great. The map has a camp site is marked Buckeye, that is easy enough.

We saw on Facebook that they eloped. I had talked to Julie a couple of times and a wedding at Beavers Bend or anywhere else was going to be hard on family members. Setting date and funds for family was an issue. I suggested they just go get married and we can have a reception at BB. LOL

As far as I know they are still planning on attending Beavers Bend. Or they were before they eloped. Guess we will see

Well we have just over a week to go till Beavers Bend and 3 sites still open.

I sure hope they fill up. If they don't I will be forced to cancel those reservations then we have the possibility of 3 big rigs moving into our fun.

Hello everyone!! Yes, we eloped and then spent a week down in the Carribean. But now we are back and are still planning on being at BB. We will prolly be there Friday, if I can convince my boss to give me another day off. Cant wait to see everyone!!

I'm going to have to scope out the plan of attack on this park. We'll be zooming in from the West and going to the South end of the park. I know we will all be in the Buckeye section so I figure we can find you all, no matter what.

If you make it the Buckeye campground you can't miss us. We have the whole loop (except for those 3 spaces that aren't filled - unless we chip in to pay for them).

Nice spots by the river. I guess I should've finished my little one man electric wooden boot. I don’t even
have my RC Fun Cub on it floats yet. To many projects, never enough time or money.
