Hey Clint and family. It would be great to see you again. We didn't get to talk at that rainy Cedar Lake/Joe Pool
Camp out .. And y'all left a bit early.

There is a slight chance of rain but the forecast keep changing. The buckeye campground has a BIG covered pavilion with lots of tables. If the kiddos are coming bring some games etc just in case.
We'd love to have you!

I rigged up a pvc pipe a frame to hold a tarp over my “Lil’ Wood if it rains and got a heater from wally
world if it snows. A nice sleeping bag, some hot dogs, a few cans of soup and a new friend is all I need.

The forecast does keep changing. Between us all I'm sure we can keep your teardrop dry. You shouldn't need to worry about the snow although it did get into the 20's one year. We have our little heater packed as well.
We will have fun no matter what.

Okay... The weather app I have just says 70% chance for Saturday but don't freak out!!
The radar shows it is going to be heaviest way north of where we are.

Lets just hope and pray it stays WAY north and all we get is a light rain.

With that huge pavilion, we'll be fine. Might be windy too

Well from the looks of the weather forecast, I,m not going to disappoint ( no trailer hitch Glen ) so we won,t be making it to freezers bend again this year.
To wet and cold to drive five hours. everybody have fun.

I still haven't finished screwing down the roof, or installing the AC or the door, but I am still planning on going unless the rain starts early here and shuts down my work.

Hey guys, I got the door done but haven't been able to get it installed, and I still need to silicone the gaps on the side, so with the upcoming rain, my girlfriend and I are camping at home this weekend. Hope everything works out great for the Saturday night firepit and I will be calling a gathering at the 2bits woodlands as soon as I install the RV hookups in a couple of months!

I've been to this gathering about six times. I have a major auction deadline on March 25th, and don't have tow vehicle, so I have no idea whether I can make this one.

If I am not working, I may have to bring a tent, and be a squatter. I don't have the time or the money to put a hitch on the Mini, right now. 800 bucks.

I want to be there. I just don't know if I can be there.

Well, we has the smallest turnout in a while (17 trailers). Weather scared away some folks but we still had a good time.
It was chilly (in 40's) and damp. We did have some rain off and on.
This morning was clearing up but very windy and cold (39 but wind chill made it 29)

Charles had his usual man cave with propane heater going since he does not like to be cold but shared it with anyone that wanted to visit.

Pot luck was good as usual as well.

We sure missed everyone that didn't make it out and were happy to meet some new campers to the group, Junkboy999, dbtrees, fishingtomatoseed, Tina, Greg and Jeanne.

I would like to thank everyone that came to Beavers Bend and a Big thank you to those that helped me cover the cost of the sites not filled for Friday night. We are blessed to have such a wonderful group of Teardrop friends.

We enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Pot luck was excellent as usual, just wish there was a way to try it all without being miserable afterwards Sorry we didn't get to visit a little more, Micki really isn't a cold weather person
I'll put next year's date on my calendar, hopefully we can order up a little warmer weather for that time period

So good to see those who braved the elements. Don't think it was the worst until that cold wind kicked up Sunday morning.

We got home in enough time to unload the camper and set up the damp things on the shop to dry out
Then still have a few hours of daylight before realizing we have to get back to reality and work tomorrow.
