Well, the kenai peninsula is behind me. Now set up at denali Nat park for a few days. Hope the weather clears so that I get sight of mnt. McKinley before I leave. From here I guess it's up to the arctic circle :)

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. AK is behind me and Canada too, back in the lower 48 now. Headed to glacier nat park next. Next week will be in Yellowstone and then on to grand teton. Guess from there I'll head over to south dakota and see mt. Rushmore.

I must be getting close to home, at least I'm back in the central time zone :) right now set up at a small lake in northern Kansas.
I've never been much of a summer camper, just too hot :( guess I'll make my way back to south Arkansas

Sorry we missed you in Yellowstone Jeff. After we set up camp at Grant Village around 4PM we looked at the map and your site was three hours North of ours. Yellowstone was nice.
We are now heading towards Seattle, WA.

We hope to see you again at Beavers Bend. Glad your trip has been so successful with few problems.

Gene, sorry to have missed you too, but I do know that Yellowstone is a huge place

Well folks, I have returned to the south central area, I am home :) 15626 miles, 3 oil changes, one minor repair on my truck and almost 4 months of travel has left me with a lifetime of memories. 8) I have been in 15 US states and 3 Canadian providences, 13 US and 4 Canadian National Parks, have camped from parking lots, roadside turnouts, BLM, NFS, State and local parks. Many small camping areas up north are free or almost so, but some parts of the country try to make all of their $$$ from each visitor. Have traveled anywhere from interstates, remote gravel roads and the AK Marine Highway, but some of my favorites where the ones than made me wonder if I was going to make it out. Met many nice people, some unique characters and made many new friends. This was truely a trip of a lifetime, I can only hope that I will be able to repeat it..... someday :?
I'm trying to get the rest of the pics loaded and posted, but it might take a few days.

Hi Jeff. I just found your Alaska thread. Great photos.

That trip has long been my dream. Now that I'm retired, hopefully it will come true over the next few years. Now, I just need a camper. I sold my old pop-up before leaving CT. My wife wants a van camper, but I would like a standie teardrop or TT. A place to build one would also be nice. :(

My wife and I recently moved to Little Rock; we're neighbors. Maybe we can meet sometime.

Hope to see more photos, maybe Alaska specific.
