Just Thinking

Postby vairman » Sun Oct 09, 2005 9:40 pm

Here is an idea... use a underdash auto a/c unit like this
Image
And use a small a/c unit's compressor and condenser to run it.. You will have to use a smaller orifice valve in the underdash unit or you could put the a/c's evaporater into the under dash unit... then remote mount the compressor assm. and run lines to the evaporator.. this system will require both 120v and 12v to operate... Just an Idea I had..

Greg,

Welcome aboard, glad to see another local Texan join the group. Keep checking this board for local teardrop gatherings. There was one recently at Cedar Hill state Park which is around 20 miles from where your located. It's a great way to see some tears, meet some people from this forum and get some ideas for you teardrop.
