We have decided to camp at Loyd Park on Dec. 7 & 8 due to the burn ban at Ray Roberts SP.

We have reserved campsites 129,146,147 for us and our kids. If anyone wants to join us there with a nice warm campfire you can call Loyd Park at 817-467-2104 and make reservations.

The sites closest to us and closest together are #'s 130,131,132,133,134,148,149. Others in the area are also available.

I will be bringing firewood.

I think it will be a popular change in location! Good call Woody! I still don't have a camper, fixed the water pipes and built a deck instead... maybe in January...

Any requests for Christmas movies for the weekend?

Dave and I will check out a new restaurant for breakfast - Our Place. They are at http://www.ourplace-mansfield.com/

Yes, there will be a gift exchange.

Everybody get your reservations. 2 nights is $40 then you have to pay your vehicle in at the gate.

Maybe, they will have people to sing carols to. I love to go around and sing carols.
We will smoke a turkey! I'm ready to go now!!!!

I guess we will be at Joe Pool also. Poor Ray Roberts :(

We will still be providing chili and cornbread for everyone on Friday evening. That means everyone better bring a lot for pot luck on Saturday to feed us!

I talked to Woody, and since I'll be tenting, I won't need to reserve a site. So, I plan to wait and see what the weather is going to do, to make sure tent camping is practical, to make my decision. I hope to be there.

There's plenty of parking way in the back for trailers. Wait was only about 15-20 minutes at about 10:00 on Saturday. They said they we be more than happy to put us a big table together if we don't mind waiting.
