How to make reservation

Postby Cindy » Wed Dec 28, 2005 7:52 pm

Hey, guys. Dave and I will be at both Cedar Hill and Beaver Bend. In fact, we are planning to camp two weekends a month if we can get it in.
To make reservations go to the website for the park you want to camp at. Then go to "make reservations" in the left hand column. This will take you to "Reserve America." You will need to create a log-in at "Reserve America." Then you can check for vacancies and make a reservation online or call the 1-800 number to make the reservation. You will need to pay at least the first day. If you pay the entire trip, someone else can pick up your reservation and put you with the group. I think I will start a thread for the Cedar Hill gathering.

I wonder if the reservations won't take because the park isn't open at that time? It's probably different in Texas but our (Kansas) state parks don't open until the first of April and close in October. Just a thought but I might be wrong.

Postby sharnrose » Thu Jan 05, 2006 10:35 am

I noticed they have these events going on there at the park the same weekend if anyone is interested, I think we'll do them.

[Events in the Same Region] [Similar Activities] [More About Cedar Hill SP]

March 18, 2006 — Cedar Hill SP — Neatness of the Night Hike — We will start the evening off with a talk on how our senses change at night and how animals use their senses and conclude with a hike in which we will be doing a number of activities that will help us appreciate the nighttime more. 7-8:30 p.m.; reservations required; call to confirm program (972) 291-3900 Ext. 232. Gary,

We would love to have you and Trudy down here in Texas. If we don't get any rain we may not have much water in the lake but we'll have a great time. Cindy and I are planning on getting there probably early Wednesday afternoon.

Starting to add up isn't it?

Looks like I'll be there with an incomplete project. Thanks to car problems and etc things have kinda slowed progress for me. I should atleast have a dried in body attached to the frame. Trying to get the CC paid off and get ahead just a little. I am ready to see some new projects and meet some new people.

Jeff, it is my understanding that if all who reserve a site would post that they have done so (with particulars) then the first person there (if they have that info) can grab a block of sites together for everyone whose info they have....
