Inks Lake in 2006

Postby Coca Cola Teardrop » Tue Oct 18, 2005 12:30 pm

Hey all. Just wanted to let everyone know that we would still like to go to Inks Lake in the Spring. We don't have a date in mind yet. Thought everyone could think about it.

I'm with you on this one, Linda, I want to go also. Just let us know when and we'll be there assuming no schedule conflicts.

Linda, Cindy and I are ready to start filling our calendar up. We have really enjoyed using the tear this year and plan on using it even more next year.

Wherever we camp, you can count me in. Inks would be a nice maiden voyage since it is fairly close.

We would like to come, but we are expecting our second in January so we probably won’t do any camping till later in the summer. Now I just need to rig up a hammock for the oldest to sleep in, or build me a Raindrop.

The Inks Lake area in mid to late April is usually in Bluebonnet and wildflower peak bloom. That would be a great time and place to camp. Hopefully I'll have at least a box put together by then.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

Tony,

You should give RWhitley a PM. He lives in Sandia, works in Corpus Christi and is building a teardrop. I know he has a frame built already, has some crude drawings I gave him and I believe is collecting materials at this time. Y'all might be able to trade materials sources, etc. And, I know you will find he is a super nice guy.
