Lake Whitney SP, Tx. 5-17,thru 5-19

We have made reservations at Lake Whitney SP for the weekend of May17th in the section with water and 50 amp electric. If anyone wants to join us you need to make rservations soon because there are only about 10 campsites left in that area.

Lake Whitney State Park. You can find it on the state park map on the on the Texas Parks and Wildlife website.

Is there 2 or 3 area and the name of the area I got the map of it . there are 5 area's

The area with water and 50 amp electric service.
There are only two choices for campsites if you are website reservations.

Scott, you can not choose a section. You can only choose a campsite with (water only) or ( water & electric) or( water, electric and sewer) or a (screened shelter). You can not select a particular loop to camp in.

I liked Lake Whitney! That was the place that had those wonderful screened rooms near the campsites. Woody ask Tammy if she remembers that huge snake that we ran from only to find out it was actually dead

I would come, but I am a contestant in barbeque/grilling contest that weekend. ...added to the fact that 2Bits says there are no more sites.
