As others have said, there usually are spaces that open up as we get closer to the event.

Linda reserves the "Buckeye" camp loop. The Cypress and the Acorn camp loops are not to far away. (Actually we like the showers near them better than the ones at Buckeye.) A back-up plan may be to individually reserve a camp space at another loop, and then "hang out" at the pavillion at Buckeye during the day.

Hello everyone

I just updated the list of those attending.

We have permission to double up in 5 sites and so far we have 2 sites that are doubling up

I am adding bpalmer, TwoStarsTeardrop and Fairplayer to the waiting list. If I have missed anyone please let me know.

I will keep the list on page 1 of this thread updated as changes occur.

If you are on the waiting list be patient. I will send you a PM if a site opens up.

We had some pretty cold temps here in East Texas for a few weeks and I am so happy that it has warmed up. I was tempted to take the teardrop down to the pond last weekend and camp out.

We are sure on the count down to Beavers Bend.

****Help Needed***

Okay, I bought a DeWalt router for my birthday...in 2013  I have yet to use it, mainly because I do not know how to use it. If I bring it to the Beavers Bend gathering, would someone be so kind as to give me a few lessons on how to use it (Maybe on Saturday afternoon)? I can bring some pieces of wood to practice on.

Let me know...because a router in the wrong hands has the potential to go wrong. :?

Make sure to bring some sample pieces of wood, 1x2's or something and some clamps!

See you there!

Beavers Bend isn't far for me.... Haven't started my build but would be good to go see all the td trailers and get ideas. Would u suggest just getting a site in a neighboring loop for our tent?

Usually there is room to double up on a site with a teardrop. As we get closer to the date there usually are cancellations. Whether you get a place in the loop or outside of the loop y'all are welcome to join everyone. On Saturday there will be a pot luck dinner. Bring a dish if you would like or just show up. There is more food than can be eaten.

* Thanks Trudy and Gary and 2bits. I will be sure to bring wood and the and the all-important clamps (can't have the wood slinging around). Now, I know I'll learn from the best ;) . I look forward to seeing you! It has been years.

** Grani, I will miss seeing you all. I didn't go last year, so it has been a while since I have gotten to chat with you.
