Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

The doctor says it is ok to drive, so I will be leaving tomorrow on my round about route to Beaver’s Bend. This year I will be traveling over 1200 miles to arrive next Thursday. I plan on camping, fishing and exploring along the way.

Which campground / loop will the gathering be in?

Is there a gate or office to check in or just drive to the site?

MC. It is funny because it always seems odd to me to just drive into the campground and set up without checking in, but that's how it works since the sites are already paid for by Linda. The is the Buckeye campground too. See you there!

Julie, Just pay when you arrive. It is a little late to worry about mailing funds.

We are in the Buckeye Campground.
I do not assign sites.
Drive in (no need to stop at the camp host) find a spot and set up
We have 1 arriving on Wednesday and quite a few on Thursday.
We only have 4 reservations for Thursday but after talking to the park yesterday there should not be any problems with several showing up on Thursday as they only have 3 other reservations from other people for Thursday

Reminder to newbies. We have a potluck meal Saturday night (where is our food thread?) LOL

We're doing some camper cleaning up today and eager to get there next weekend. We are seriously considering selling the teardrop so if anyone asks while we're there please send them our way

Unfortunately we are no going to be there this year. My Mom passed away and we are buying a house (hopefully) and just too much to get away for this trip. Hope you all enjoy and catch a few fish for me !

Sorry you won't be able to make it Gregg and for your mothers passing as well, we will catch you next time! Julie there are a few decent vintage standys on CL right now and you might be interested in one of mine if you make it to my gathering, I am picking up #5 in weatherford right now!

We plan to leave here on Thursday morning so we should be there afternoon on Thursday. I will likely make deviled eggs for potluck like I usually do or…? Thomas – actually for some time we've talked about a cargo conversion mainly to be able to carry the motorcycle in it and then when we get somewhere pull it out and drop down the bed and use that as a camper.

Dang I hate to see so many people not able to make it, but I am glad to see the waiting list go down for those who want to attend so thank you guys for letting the group know if you can't make it. I will ask my sister Mary and her hubby Tim if they want to attend. They sold their big white motor home because it was such a pain but still love camping and they can take my Shasta. I will post it to the waiting list if they are interested!

Not sure what I will bring for the pot luck yet, since Glenn isn't here I might steal his drumsticks and grille some up.
