We had a wonderful time, it was our first get together and everyone made us feel right at home. People shared good food and friendship at the pot luck, building tips and ideas.... Linda- thanks for your hospitality, and the great camaraderie shown by all the attendees...I had a great time. Nice park! I may get used to camping; it's fun with these guys!

A great camping weekend !!! What a way to start the camping season. Super great weather, all though a little rain on the way down and on the way home. Food was awesome and I'll have dominos in the camper next time to get a 2nd game going. Hope everyone got home dry and happy! Julie & Kenny

I'm glad everyone had a good time. We sure wanted to make it, but had to stay closer to home. Hopefully we can meet in the future.

It was our first time at the gathering and just wanted to say thank you to everyone for making us feel so welcome! Was a great weekend!! Hope to see you all again soon!

Louisa and I had a great time at the camp out. Louisa was the high winner and low winner in the game of Chicken-foot. The food Saturday night was excellent I was so stuff that I could hardly sleep that night. I am sure glad that we were able to get things ready and leave before the storm came on Sunday morning. I guess they got hit fairly hard at the Camp ground.

I will be picking up my new (to me) 1985 13' Casita trailer on Thursday morning. Louisa and I stop by on our way home to get a good look at it. It seems to be in fairly good shape for such an old trailer. I think Louise and I will like it fairly well.

Thanks for everybody for the great campout that we had. I have already got my reservations and four 2015.

I had a great time even with the little sister rescue operation, she is very fun to hang out with! Sorry I missed the group photo and didn't have a chance to cook for the pot luck. I was so surprised when I woke up and the park was completely empty except for my sister and I and MC Toyer. We made coffee and Mary made breakfast while I got us packed up and we left around noon when it was just starting to sprinkle. we never hit any rain of any substance at all luckily and were quite the pair driving home

Thomas, I laughed out loud when I read your post. I think we were the first to leave at 6:20 am. We had so much waiting on us to be done when we got home.

Beavers Bend 2015 will be April 24-26 or the 23rd -26 for some of us.
I will call and pay the deposit for all the sites on Monday, May 12th so any deposits paid before then will be appreciated.

We got home last night after a brutal drive on I-35/I-135/I-70. 667 miles, and most of it I was fighting either a head- or a crosswind with gusts up to 60mph! Not fun!

But we had a great time! It's always great meeting a new set of Teardrop and Tiny Trailer owners and this was no exception!

I will try to go through the photos this week and hope to have them up by the weekend or early next week at the latest.
