Sharon, I do agree! It was well worth selling my teardrop to get my place, and I work at home now so it is a completely different lifestyle which I truly love. I miss the comradery of the South Central folks though! I got my new camper campable today so I am back in the swing!

Mark, I'm glad you had your reservation already also. There are only around 40 campsites so it doesn't take long to fill up. Last year there were alot of cub scouts & boy scouts in the park.

Keep your eyes on the thread as there may be cancellations at the last minute although I call dibs for my sister if Tom has to cancel! LOL!!

Scouts you say? CD would be salivating at the water balloon possibilities!

The camper is far from ready but we may show up to meet some of yall and snoop around your trailers. Only about 4 hours, so not that bad for a days trip.

By all means you and anyone else are welcome to come by for a visit. We'll have a potluck dinner around 6 o'clock on Saturday so come by and stay for dinner if you can.

Cindy and I have been looking at our schedule for the conference in Dallas and think we could probably break down and get to Glen Rose by 6:00 Saturday.
Can we come to the potluck and share a campfire?

Dave, It will be good to see you an Cindy again, it has been a while!

Woody, Thank you for letting me know about the burn ban! I'll try to get my propane firepit going again (It needs a new orifice I think) and I will bring it and a full bottle so we can still have a fire if the ban is still on.
