Good News! The burn Ban has been lifted.

The forecast says scattered T-storms, not a wide spread rain event. We'll be there.

Last year at Loyd Park was a monsoon. The year before was a heatwave with a burn ban and no rain. You just don't know what the weather will do this time of year.

Still planning on coming. Leaving as soon as we can get off work today. Might stop at Abilene State Park, might come all the way. Ronnie

We will be there Friday afternoon. As far as Saturday night, we will see. Monsoons 2 out of the past 3 years have not been fun.

Linda and I won't be making it out to Dinosaur Valley SP.

We had reservations for Friday and Saturday. I believe I had paid in full but can't find the paperwork. Anyway, I called the park and they said I could let a friend use our reservations.

I know "working on it" wanted to stay Friday. He's welcome to use our reservations and if I paid for the days he can camp free.

Thomas (2bits) knows my last name - I'd rather not post it online - in case you need it to access the reservations.

Thanks for bringing wood Woody! I like to bring wood but didn't plan for it with the burn ban! I'll still bring the propane firepit in case there's a washout on Sat but have a feeling that it is gonna be great!! See you in 12 hours!!

Just loaded up, pulled out of garage, and no turn signal or brake lights left side. As a car guy, I can't have that! So I changed clothes, crawled under and traced it. Found it topside. Should leave at 12pm. See you there.
