Location for family reunions- need your expertise!

Hello,

My family is looking to relocate our family reunions to a more central place to where we all live now.
Here are the facilities we need:

Some cabins with beds.
A main building with a large maybe commercial kitchen that has kitchen supplies hopefully.
A lake, pool, or water of some kind.
Somewhere in the Ft. Worth area and not more east than Dallas.
Any ideas???????

Interesting question Stacy, How many cabins do you think? These I assume are full cabins with restrooms and showers etc? I live in D/FW so I will try to help!

The cabins can just have beds. Central baths are fine. Maybe 4 or so with 4-6 bunks.

You might look at this place on Joe Pool Lake. Its in between Fort Worth and Dallas and south of interstate 20. They have cabins, camping and a meeting hall.

This place used to be an old, worn out waterfront mobile home park until It was purchased last year and completely redone into an RV resort with cabins, so everything in the place is nice and brand new (not just remodeled). It's at Lake Tawakoni where I live so it's probably too far East for you, but it is a really nice place right on the water.

We are having our family reunion at a YMCA camp (YMCA of the Rockies, Estes Park, CO). You might look for something similar in your area. But a warning, Christian camps are often dry. Your reunion might be limited to sweet tea and sodas.
