Just talked to Woody and he is checking on a mass move to Cleburne State Park. That's the closest option. Hopefully available! We will get back to you.
The State Park people said we can move or get a full refund. FYI

Thank you Woody for leading the round up and thank you Stacy for the heads up! We also have Lake Whitney close by, I've never been to Cleburne SP so I hope one can accommodate our crew!

Is Cleburne SP the preferred option for a group move, with the best facilities or features ? Or is it the best for travel distance and convenience to the core group of South Central campers? Either way, I'm game to go along with the change. Woody, if you can arrange a group move, and prefer a more distant site (or have had PM's from others stating preferences-as a relative newbie camper, I don't know the terrain yet), count me in on it...and thanks!

We drove thru Cleburne state park today, looks ok to us.
It reminds Me and Suzie of meridian state park, but the park staff is nice at Cleburne and they told me the never worked at meridian or palo duro canyon

We drove thru Cleburne SP today also. Just got home at 5:00. I think it will work for us.

Does anyone know how to get ahold of professor.smith?

I've heard from everyone but him.

Since we had to make reservations on the phone, you cannot change it online, you'll need to call back in to move the res... 512-389-8900. The sites at Cleburne are $16 vs. $25 at Dinosaour Valley so that will save some $$$. Remember to get a water and Elect site (Not sewer), these are in the Cedar Grove and Keyhole loops. There is no way to specify which loop when reserving so we are aiming for the Cedar Grove loop when we arrive.

Keep in mind the Cedar Grove loop only has 16 sites and since the sites are cheaper, it might be worth it to go ahead and book Thursday and come in a day early or at least roll in after work Thursday afternoon. This will help ensure we are all together, that's what I am doing.

Thanks Thomas! You got this in before I could. Appreciate it. FYI two hour hold time, so just have them call you back. :?
I will get there Thursday and can front the money for sites if someone tells me they want me to.

I hit option 4 to cancel, not sure of that matters or if I just got real lucky because I only held for a couple min both times!
