Hello!

Text me if you want me to pay and grab a spot for you. We will get there early afternoon Thursday. Bring cash to pay me back. I don't go to the bank!

That's a thought... I see a possible theme here, drumsticks: turkey legs, leg of lamb, leg of venison, ham on bone, et al????

Ah ha! Trying to reserve your right to bring drumsticks, exclusively, by scaring off the competition! I'm on to your game, now. I presume you're the exclusive purveyor of firewood as well? Just funning, see 'ya there!

Hah! Well, back in the day, I was a no-cookin fool so I made up with it (hopefully) by contributing to the firewood pool! I actually just finished shopping and setting up my food and the pork ribs looked pretty good so that is what I decided on!

Well, shoot. Went ahead and got Thursday, so we'd get one of " the sweet spots", but, mother-in-law is going to get some med. tests 3:00 Thursday! We're going to go ahead and drive down after that. But, I guess the park locks down, so,we'll stop at Lewisville. That'll put us in Dallas around 9:00, but I'll roll out early as I can Friday morning. All is well, just a hitch! ( we've raised 4 kids.....we've seen plenty of hitch's). On the good side, I'll have all day Thursday to pack, repack, and pack some more! :)

Got every thing ready that I could tonight. My Crockpot, a bag of potatoes, eggs, Vienna Sausage, bread, and some Bud. I am all set. Hey Working, my baby daughter who just moved to Plano, called and wanted me to bring her bike. My Son loaned me one of his old motorcycle helmets . Maybe we can take a tour of the park before she shows up to claim her bike. Still planning on leaving around four Friday morning.

I'm bringing my new, cheap bike & a lightweight helmet I picked up for $25 at Wallyworld (didn't want to use the Snell rated racing helmet-too hot/heavy). Take it easy on me, I haven't ridden since '90-'91 (prior to my divorce; she sold my bike!), when I lived in Plano (loved their bike trails- one started 50 feet from my condo). Plus, my Dr. said Tuesday that I'm hypertensive- who woulda guessed a laid-back youngster like me...ha,ha. I'll be there Thursday.

Dang Dave (coyote), I wish there was a way to reserve a spot without checking in, I think Stacy might have a key in, but I think it might be dependent on how cool the park staff is. Either way, it will all work out!

I will be bringing my bike, but it is a Cruiser (AKA one speed) so I'll just be using it to cruise, and won't be doing any touring on it.

I also bought another camper tonight (imagine that) so my drive to Allen and back postponed my getting ready time, so I still need to do a few things, but my estimate and goal is to arrive around 1pm tomorrow. See you guys later!

We plan to leave about noon today. The park is 38 miles from the house. Hope it doesn't take to long to get there.
