We have made reservations for Lake Mineral Wells SP for Thanksgiving weekend. I reserved a site in the Plateau camping section of the park. This is a different area that we have not camped in before.It has water and 30 amp electrical service. Please make reservations and join us if you want to.

I have one vacation day left, I hope I can get the day after Thanksgiving off. The park doesn't allow a one night stay on a weekend, so it might be a late afternoon arrival on Friday if I can't get off work but yanno it doesn't take much for me to get set up.

Got our reervation made for Friday and Sat. May add Wed and Thurs to that.

We have reserved for Wednesday and Thursday also.

We have our reservations made can't wait for the fried turkey

i am sure everyone will be chiming in soon for this one. I confirmed that I am out of vacation days so I have to work Friday and battling rush hour at night through the entire metroplex is not my idea of a good time so I am going to stay at home or head somewhere on my side of town for the weekend. Someone roll CD off a ledge for me!

When I cancelled my Purtis creek reservations yesterday due to the sub freezing temps, I tried to transfer it to Mineral Wells for this date and there are no more site available. Just FYI

Hi everyone, Terri here. Just wondered what ya'll are bringing to eat for the weekend. We are going to fry one of our Cajun turkeys, and maybe bring cranberry salad, and whatever else is needed for the potluck. As for the other days/night's meals, we will probably have some smoked leg quarters, something in a slow cooker, and I have no clue what else. HELP... Have stuff for some shot drinks, but need shot glasses. Bringing firewood, but can't carry as much as we use to, so if you can bring some, please do. Might make sausage gravy and biscuits one morning. That's all I got for now. We will be there sometime Thursday afternoon, so whoever gets there 1st, if they will let you pick up the others' sights, that would be great! maybe we can all be somewhat close together.

We will get there on Wednesday and tell them who is wanting to be together but unless we pay for the sites and know what days you have paid, I can't pick them up. Maybe they will keep us together.
I am making Thursday night hot toddies after we get back.
Friday am Pancakes and sausage, pm Turkey sub sandwiches.
Saturdy - AM: Scrambled eggs and muffins to go with Terry's bisquits and gravy. PM Mexican food

So is that the food theme for Saturday Mexican food.

No real theme. I just wanted Mexican food. I'm frying fish on Wednesday night. Will anybody else be there?

I will be there on Wednesday and maybe Morgan. Tammy is in Michigan for the rest of the year.

We want be able to make this year Happy Thanksgiving for all y'all . And well see y'all at the Christmas Gathering
