I will come up for Saturday and the Potluck.
Maybe I could get away with locking myself up in the Tear while its parked in the overflow lot ;-)
wake up in the AM in a impound lot.

Very nice! :applause:

I think I see a potty in there also? If so, that's a great dual purpose use!

Thanks. Yep, we have the luggable loo for those middle of the night potty calls so we don't have to trek to the bathrooms.

We are probably going to order a 2nd tent just for bathroom/shower purposes. We may add a 2nd side entrance tent as well, have not decided on that one yet.

Wife also just made new curtains for the trailer this week as well. We are trying to provide some custom touches to make it ours.

Looks like we should get there tomorrow around 3:30 if we get out of here on time. I have a conference call that runs until 2:30 so I am hoping it wraps up early so I can get out a little earlier.

 Unfortunately, we are not going to make it down to the park. I called the park office and let them know we wouldn't be there. So...at least for a little while, there is a campsite available for Friday-Sunday.

Awesome Campout Stacie. Thanks for picking a really nice park, and a perfect weather weekend! Enjoyed visiting with everyone very much. Left the campground at seven, arrived home at three. Hope I did not wake any one as I was getting ready to leave. Ronnie :)

Great Photo Dave!!

I had a great time too. We need to get some more troublemakers around LOL..

Going home sucked! When coming in, I took 281 in to avoid Austin traffic and I was told that was a good move by those who went through Austin and it was a great drive. When I went home I decided to mix it up a bit and cut across from 281 to I-35 after I got North or Austin, it went great until about 10 mi south of Waco, then it was bumper to bumper 20 mph all the way to Waco then smooth sailing through Waco and then BAM... the same stuff for another who knows how many miles. In all my 4 hour drive took six freaking hours! I won't be doing any more gatherings that go through ANY cities. I live in the country and the last thing I want to do is drive through traffic to go or come from the gathering. At any rate I will be posting my photos on FB shortly, If you don't have a FB account ask your kid LOL

Thanks for letting us join your group camping trip, It was great meeting everyone.

I am hoping we can join others in the future. Perhaps there somewhere in between that might work for everyone. Waco looks to be about 1/2 way between Dallas/Austin.

In any case, thanks again for the fun and food. I loved hearing some of your stories of past trips. Sounds like great memories.

We've been tossing around the Mother Neff campground which is SW of Waco. It has been closed to camping for 3 1/2 years and has recently been totally redone and re opened Jan of this year.

The Mother Neff Thread...

Brad, I realized that I forgot your vintage magazines after I left home. They are still sitting on my counter so I'll put them in my camper so they stay there for next time we meet up! Trying to find a place for everything so I only have to toss in clothes and perishables to hit the road! See ya!!
