1957 Scotty teardrop in fort Worth

Man... I am seriously tempted to go back to teardroppin when I see this! A "real" 1957 Scotty teardrop on CL. He is asking $2500 for it and it needs a new interoir, but I love the look and style of this model, plus you know I like the vintage stuff! I'd buy it in a heartbeat for half the price... What to y'all think? :thinking:

Nancy Kroles of the "National Serro Scotty" association could probably give you a good idea on a fair price. She has one she has redone. It is very nice.
We had a Scotty gathering in West Memphis early this year. She made the long trip down. There were about 10 Scotties there. Some really amazing units.

Outside is a bit dirty, but looks sound. It has a Kahleefoornya plate. :NC Probably not very rotten. $2500 seems a bit much. Low ball 'em and see just how bad they want to get rid of it. Are those the correct wheels/fenders? They look kinda big.
