I'm about to take off. I ride the Iron Horse tomorrow, & join everyone for the trip Saturday. Looking forward to seeing you all.
I'll burn that bridge when I come to it.

Hey, here are a few of my photos! sorry for the delay, it was warm and humid during the days but the evenings were very pleasant. There was a really great dog the befriended us and even bedded down with Danny and Suzie. I would have taken it home if the owner hadn't come by and picked her up right before we all boarded the train. Very good dog, and I am not a dog person so that says alot. There was a burn ban which wasn't wonderful but it was pretty warm so we huddled under the lights of the spinnernut hatch on Saturday. Power went out Saturday morning but it wasn't the park it was that whole section of town. Restrooms and showers were good. The train ride was great to have some constant wind during the day and we decided that it would be cool to do again, but when the diesel and steam train met in the middle and stopped as they flipped the switch on the track we would jump trains and head back to skip the hour and a half layover in Palestine because the ride back everyone was literally counting the mile markers, fun train ride, just cut it in half and it would be great. See ya!!
