Thanks for posting Cindy! I hate driving in the city and have a tradition that I don't drive on NYE so that's a double whammy so I might just light up the shooting range here and blow off a couple hundred rounds at midnight in y'alls honor!

I've been waiting for someone to post up for NYE, and got busy this week and missed it. Three trips to Houston in one month, a near miss with a tornado, a flat tire from tornado debris, and an extremely rare French car distracted me.

The last NYE with B & L was fun, and we exceeded the normal "too much food" standard of SCT gatherings. I'll see what I can arrange to be there. I don't drink and drive, especially on NYE, so I'll have to watch the weather to see whether I pitch a tent or rent a minivan for the night.

So, this is a 80-percent-plus commitment. I have a big job coming very soon, but it shouldn't effect that weekend.

Louisa has a nice guest room. We stayed in it last time. We are driving home this year so it is open. I can let her know if you want to stay the night.
Glad to hear you might come. I miss you at gatherings.

As of now, it looks like NYE night will be cold, but dry, so I'm leaning toward pitching my tent, and rolling out my sleeping bag -- it is good down to 20 degrees.

Is the gathering poodle friendly? If not, I need to make arrangements.

I can probably get the fire pit in the MINI, if someone has some wood to burn in it -- and anyone wants a fire. I brought it to the last NYE at B & L's, and a few people sat by it. You guys let me know if you want an outdoor fire. Of course, if we want a roaring fire, I can always cook up some MOINK balls with Dave's grill. :o :D

Excited to be able to host New Years Eve this year. We have a guest bedroom, two comfortable couches, a warm office which can take a sleeping bag or two for anyone wishing to stay overnight. We do not have wood to burn outside but have a gas fireplace inside. We have a gas barbecue grill we can also use outside for the MOINK balls and we are poodle friendly. Please sign up with us so we know how many to prepare for.

Bill, that office floor space would work for me and Teddy. I can roll out my Thermarest, and sleep just fine. In the winter, I often sleep on it in front of my fireplace.

We won't have Ralfy with us - He will welcome some time alone after being with the grand kids all week.
I don't like to sit outside in the cold - campfire or not so no firepit needed for me.
Looks like
Bill & Louisa
Glen
Greg & Terri
Mark & Cindi
Dave & Cindy
Scott and Gerri
Did I leave anyone out?

What are people planning for food. I'm sure somebody probably snagged nacho cheese dip. I can do MOINK balls, if people want them. They always seem to dissapear at SCT events -- when I don't set them on fire. :duh:
