Camp on the Comal

Postby Cindy » Sun Jun 05, 2016 2:42 pm

Several of us have reserved at Landa RV Park on August 4-7th. Dave and I will be there Tuesday but have a conference during the day.
There webpage is: http://www.landarv.com and their phone number to make reservations is (830) 625-1211.

Dave and I, Danny and Suzanne, and my brain just went blank are in 101, 102 and 103 by the water. If you can get close, good. If not, you can spend the day with us.
Go look at the map and call.

At least I won't be a roasted chicken! I'm doing June and July though!

It was hot last year, but fun. Stay in the river and it is great. I still never finished the roll of film from the disposable waterproof camera from last year's trip.

The water in the Comal is about 70-degrees all year. It is a spring-fed river.

Cindy, Shelley posted up this gathering so you might check the SW teardrop FB page since there's some of those folks going. I'll be outside working in the heat on my new camper van so I am not totally chicken! I'll just have my nice cool shower be close by is all.

I do love floating in the Comal in August. It is tempting. If I can do it, it will be a last minute decision.

Hello there South Central. I new to the forum this summer and I am in the planning and materials gathering stages of my first build. I live in Round Rock, Tx and my wife and I thought we would stop in to the Comal River campout for the afternoon this Saturday to meet and greet with whoever might be there. Hope to see you there!

Hey Folks,
Thank you for letting a newbie into your camp this evening. I had many questions about building a TD and everyone was so gracious and hospitable in answering questions and showing me your handiwork. Hopefully ill have a good jump on a unit by April and can see you in Tyler.
Kindest Regards,
