It was nice to meet some of you at the gathering. It's always nice to be able to put faces with names. We took home a couple of the silent auction items and are looking forward to getting out the DO on our week-long trip to the San Juan Islands.

Just got back from La Pine. Had great time and learned a lot. Met some people from this board too. The RV park left something to be desired though. Overall a great event.

Barbara

PS. Dean has a new addition to his collection of DO's. Any guesses as to what it might be? :MLAS

It couldn't be the 5" lodge.

Yeah right, If there is one anywhere near him he will be magnetically drawn to it.

Now all he needs is the 3in oven with Grorge Washington on the lid. ;)

Jim,
Probably was a key word, but the emoticons were what were really key...

Rocky,
Is Larry trying to sell you that story too?
I believed him at first, but then I callled Lodge... They thought it was pretty funny.

8) The IDOS Gathering was an awesome one. After planning an event myself (IRG) one sees the amount of time and effort necessary to pull off an event of this magnitude successfully. These folks earn an A from me for the effort and offerings, willingness to share and feed us yummy stuff.

My favorite part was attending the workshops while hanging out poolside and soakin' in the hot tub. :)
I had a perfect spot from my chaise lounge where I could hear the workshop speaker AND see the demo. Although I must admit I had to look through the bars of the surrounding pool fence....but it isn't every event that you can catch some R&R and rays at the same time you attend the workshop. So, it was a double delight for me! ;)
