I took some pictures of the first annual Ocean Shores campout and got all those who attended in the following photos.
I got to my campsite ok, and set up camp.

I thought that it would be nice to cook up some bacon and eggs on the beach for my breakfast on my last morning.

Thanks Arthur. It was fun. Didn't get cloudy till the last day. I think it would be fun to get all the North Westerner's all parked on the beach and fly some kites.

Kevin,

I forgot to sign up for the First Annual Ocean Shores event, lol. But we were there on Thursday and Friday at the end of the 5 week cross country road trip to the Atlantic Ocean. A real coast to coast drive.

Did you stay at Ocean City State Park? Nice campground. Had a great thunder and lightning storm Thursday night. We had clouds until friday afternoon when we had to leave for home.

Hey Jack,

I was there from Fri to Sun. It was pretty good weather. It rained last night a bit. Yep, stayed at Ocean City State Park. The coast to coast drive sounds like a blast. Something I will have to do sometime. You have a nice rig. Bet you enjoyed your selfs.

Cool. I think your trailer would look good in the beach pose. I took a look at your album.

I think it would be good to have it on the 2nd weekend of July again. The campground was sold out on that weekend this year so reserve your site as soon as you can. There were all sorts of other places to camp along the 2 mile drive from ocean city to ocean shores.

nice pictures. Lots of kites in the air would be worth framing!

Nightcap, Nice beginnings to a wonderful event. Next year it will be bigger, Bacon and eggs sure looked inviting.

Who knows, next year there might not be enough room on the beach for everybody

It looked like a great event

Ok, it is on then. :applause: It sounds like fun meeting at the beach. I'll bring all my kites. We can do some stunt kite flying.

Kevin, it looks like you had a great time. I didn't know one could camp like that on the beach, looks like great fun as long as the tide doesn't sink your tear  . Going to ride along with a friend next Thursday am and watch him surf in the area. I haven't surfed in eons and I'd need more than one wing anyway. :D Hope to see you guys at the Silver Lake gathering this weekend. :ilovecamp: Danny

Nope can't camp on the beach. I would worry about going out to sea in the middle of the night. Besides I don't think they allow it. You have to camp at one of the many places close by and meet at the beach in the mornings. There are a lot of cool shops all over ocean city and ocean shores. You can get some kites in town as well. I saw some people surfing there last weekend. I used to go all the time and don't remember surfers. humm.

My friend wants me to surf there and I keep thinking about the surfer who couldn't reach the shore for 2 days  Danny

Yeah Danny, be careful, those rip tides are no joke. They lose a few people a year to them.

Greetings! I'm just getting into the wiring and insulation phase. Are there any upcoming gatherings or campouts in this area? Hope to meet you all. Thanks! --Vic
