We snuck out last night for some more camping this weekend. We ended up at Rainy Creek. This is a newer campground built with in the last five years. It has ten spots, bring your own water and the price is free. 8)

We were a little leary since we saw this site when it was brand new and it was suppose to become a pay site but never did. We were able to roll in and the spots are nicely spread out. There are two trails to the river and huckleberries are nearby. The fire rings are huge and the wildlife is friendly. We will definitly be visiting this site again.

It is a little complicated but I still have a map uploaded. :D

Go around the Northside of Lake Wenatchee and take to road to Little Wenatchee Road. Take forest service road 6700 then take your first right after the bridge.(There is an old campsite there). 6700 will take you back to Steven's Pass plus some beautiful mountain lakes.

Everyroad down there takes you to a camping spot. Not every spot a trailer can turn around on and some you need to bring water. If you have any questions then let me know, I have been to every site up there and camped in most of the free ones. 8)

Thanks for the map and directions. I think we are headed this way over Labor Day weekend. Do you think all the campgrounds will be full?

Barbara,
I am sorry about the late response as I just got back from a grand tour of the Northwest Corner of Oregon. Did you have any luck?
