Portland Oregon trailer repair?

Postby NW_Subie » Sun Jan 25, 2009 3:02 pm

Anybody know of someone around Portland who can replace a small section of dry rot on a TD? Good company or individual. Thanks in advance.

You might want to post a picture of the area in question.

Here's a close up of the water damage from a fender bolt. About 12 x 7 inches.

Are you sure the wood is bad enough to have to be cut out and replaced?
If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got.

Not 100% sure. Still drying the wood out. The trailer had been sitting outside for about a year or so. I'm no wood expert. Thought I'd try anti freeze to deal wth any dry rot/mold, put some epoxy sealer in and see how that works. I'm guessing I'll probably need to eventually replace some wood.
