Kevin,
If I remember correctly, the 158 - 163 will fit a van and not a small trailer. The next closest one for a small trailer is 175. We ended up in a medium trailer space so we can probably play basketball if someone brings the hoop.

Too bad you've chosen that weekend. About a dozen of us will be heading to Kelsons' in Roslyn for their annual event. Very laid-back and lots of fun right in "downtown".
Hope to see many of you at Spring Fling. We're up to 25 as of today!

Basketball, that funny. I think they let you put the trailer where the tent goes. I remember moving mine around a bit. If anything we are resourceful.

Yeah, I feel a bit bad about that. Next year I'll work on getting a date that is free and clear. I need to get my form in for spring fling. Looking forward to it. Do you guys take PayPal?

Don't feel too bad, you enticed my wife from no gathering to one with the magic word Kite.

I wish I still had my Greens Kites - Stratoscoop 2. I bought in 1984 for $50.00.

I've never owned a Cody. Yours looks great. I would like to see how it flys. I'm thinking it is pretty stable. I might try and make one some day. I have a few plans/tutorials (for free) I have had on the web for 10 years or so. It sort of has become a famous site among kite fliers. Probably because it has been there for so long without going down. I'll put a link to you can check out my kites and plans and aerial photos I took from kites.

A long time back (1995) I belonged to the WKA, Washington Kiteflyers Association.
Used to work on clearing Kite Hill in Magnason Park in Seattle. Ken Conrad from Great Winds Kite shop used to get it organized.

Kite in flight last October at Ocean City State park. I bought it at the kite store in Ocean Shores that weekend. The colors aren't really visable in a blue sky so I have taken a red Sharpie felt pen and turned the white panels red. And will turn the blue ones black. That should have a better contrast in the sky.

I was just looking through the website and saw you folks are going to ocean city state park. I made a reservation a while ago for that weekend. I'll be in space 112 with my teardrop and my lab. Maybe i'll see you there.

It just keeps getting better. I think we need to come up with a list of todo's while we are there. Cause anything we do is bound to start a tradition. :D
1. I vote to have at least one or two meals cooked out of our tears on the beach.
2. Flying Kites
3. Rent Scooters
4. Relax
Oh, and pet rigboat's lab. (with permission of course)

Any Ideas?
