Honeyman State Park, just south of Florence, is fantastic! Most of the hook-ups are full service. There is lovely Cleawox and Woahink lakes to rent little pedal boats and sail around on. There are showers and flush bathrooms. The State Police cruise through during the night. The rangers keep the place reasonably quiet. We spent a week there last summer.

If ya haven't left yet.....Waxmyrtle is our fav. 3-4 miles south of Florence. Site #2 or #3 if available. Both are reservable at http://www.recreation.gov/camping/Waxmyrtle_Campground_Or/r/campgroundDetails.do?contractCode=NRSO&parkId=75471 . There is a slough you can paddle between the sea and Woahink lake. Fantastic campground!
Enjoy here while you're there 'cause there ain't no here there tomorrow!
