I cant seem to find a trailer I actually like that is premade....so I was thinking of building one. I love the looks of the 47 Ken Skill..so I may go along those lines.

I work for a commercial vehicle builder/outfitter her in Portland, so I have access to a huge fab shop, cabinet/wood shop, CNC machine ect ect....so I think this may be the way to go ..... I would just buy something and retro fit it if I didnt have the access to this shop I think....so this works out great!

Its great to meet you.. I see your from AZ.... Im a transplant from AZ to Oregon I spent my childhood in AZ ....

wow...huge difference between Portland and anyware in AZ! not to mention LA

I moved from Amado, AZ (down by Green Valley, Tubac , Nogalas area)as a teen to Beaverton Oregon...now that was a culture shock...from deep AZ desert to living in the middle of a forest!

Great to meet you!

Welcome to the forum. Hey more power to you if you want to build. There are some nice trailers to be had in our area. Currently my favorite is http://www.adventureteardrops.com/. Of course it depends on what you are looking for. ;)

8) Welcome to the NW Thread where you can see what's happening on the Left Coast. If you click on the black pot below you can see some of the places many of us folks on this thread congregate. If you click on the IRG icon you'll see the redwood gathering we do on even numbered years.

Your access to that SHOP sounds like a teardropper dream come true! why buy when you can build...and if I have an opportunity to swap stories around a campfire I'll tell you about my Hubbs house which is a firehouse with an absolutely amazing shop space. ttfn.

Winter Pot Luck

Postby byrdz1 » Thu Oct 27, 2011 8:50 pm

There is a pot luck in January, no trailers at that one, but lots of pictures and you can talk to other teardroppers, they are such a shy group...
