Teardrop Owners close to Salem, OR

Postby schaney » Sun Oct 16, 2011 10:39 am

As I mined in a Side Tent thread, I've recently got in a new arch shape awning / tent that might work nicely with the Teardrops as a side tent or galley awning. If there are folks close to me in Salem, OR with a Teardrop, would love to set one up with a few different Teardrops to see how well they work and take some pictures.

My home built teardrop is being refurbished at our hobby garage in Independence. The overskin phase of the rebuild is nearly finished and the trailer will be roadworthy again in a few days. I have been thinking of an easy to transport and set up awning. PM me if you want to use my trailer as a reference for your project.

We wouldn't mind helping out with that. Maybe even offer them as accessories to our trailers, if it works/looks well. We are 99% done with our first Streeter model trailer. I'm don't think we want to tow it yet, but if you are down in the Eugene area sometime in the near future, you could stop by our shop and we could set up a little photo shoot, and see how well it works. I could bring my personal trailer too, for a double shoot if were interested. ;) you can check out the trailers here http://www.oregontrailer.net/Oregon_Trailer/Streeter_Build.html

Let me know if you're interested.

Eric, keep in mind it's not just an awning, with the zip in panels you can fully enclose it.

As always when considering a purchase, assess how a product meets your criteria and purchase what best fits your needs.
